Did you know Girlfriends started hosting panels back in 2018? – Yes, some of our first events were panels, and they were VERY popular, that’s why, we are so excited to go back to our roots and BRING BACK DREAMS & DEGREES!

We are bringing a taste of our Girlfriends Retreat closer to you in 2024 - Join our GFB Day Retreat to Immerse yourself in carefully curated activities and transformative workshops designed to sharpen your mind, strengthen your body, and nourish your soul, ensuring you not only set but conquer your goals for the year ahead.

**Location** - We are aware transportation can be tricky especially heading 30 minutes outside the city. To help, we will be creating a group chat with those attending so you guys can coordinate carpooling or taking the train and Ubering to the house together.
Wheel Pottery

LET’S GET CREATIVE for our first event of 2024 – Wheel Pottery!
This class is for first-time potters – or those looking for a fun refresher – where we will sit down at the potter’s wheel as well as do slab building!
This is a fun and relaxing class to unplug from your phone, get your hands muddy, and experience clay!
Participants will come away with 2 pieces in the glaze color of their choosing. These pieces can be picked up in 3-4 weeks and can be used as everyday functional wares.
Light Refreshers will be included as well.

REMEMBER THE LADIES is an interactive walking tour through Boston. We will learn all about many remarkable women in history from Boston (and those who lived here during their formative years). In this tour led by Ellen, an incredible historian, we will learn, enjoy, and reflect on the importance of their work and the impact they still have in today’s world.

Dea’s decorating techniques include wet-on-wet, icing transfer technique, piping names and or textures, and hand piping with royal icing.

We're excited to partner with BOSTODAY for another event! We are planning to explore the best of the South End of Boston on Sunday, Oct. 8, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

One of our incredible members, Emma deRosas, is hosting a webinar on September 19th at 7PM. The webinar will cover topics such as the home-buying process, getting approved for a mortgage, first-time home buyer programs/grants, and more. Emma will be joined by her mother/real estate partner, Susan, as well as a local mortgage originator and a real estate attorney to touch upon all topics.
