BEACHES WITH MBTA ACCESS NEAR BOSTON

New England has a lot to offer in the summer, especially if you’re a beach lover. Here are our favorite Beaches with T Access in Boston:

1. Revere Beach

  • Lovely beach with a two-mile-long sandy beach

  • Close access to T - the blue line to Wonderland Station


2. Carson Beach

  • Great beach in South Boston

  • Red line stop at UMass/JFK - half-mile walk to the beach from there

3. Castle Island

  • Great beach, good for swimming and nice to explore for some seafood

  • Redline - Off at Broadway - Take #9 Bus to E. Broadway

4. Constitution Beach

  • Park beach feel with parks, shade, basketball courts, ect. Near by to watch the Logan planes.

  • Blue line - Stop at Orient Heights - short walk from there

5. Winthrop Beach, Winthrop

  • This beach is a more local beach in Boston with restrooms, views, and shade.

  • Blue Line to Orient Heights - Paul Revere Bus straight to the beach


Commuter Rail:

  1. Singing Beach/Manchester by the Sea

  • It is a gorgeous beach with minimal parking, so the commuter rail is a great way to get there. Long sandy beach with nice rocks and landscape.

  • Newburyport/Rockport Line from North Station to Manchester - a mile walk from there
